After years of making impressive Android phones, OnePlus is ready to venture into tablets. There’s been evidence that it’s been working on a slate called the OnePlus Pad for a while, and the company recently confirmed it.
So far, we don’t know much about the OnePlus Pad, but there have been several leaks that shed light on potential specs, with OnePlus itself teasing the design – revealing a February 7th launch date. I’m here.
It won’t take long to wait, but in the meantime, here are all the news, leaks and rumors about the OnePlus Pad.

OnePlus Pad release date and price
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus Pad will be announced on February 7th, coinciding with the global launch of the OnePlus 11.
It may not be available for purchase that day, but orders will begin soon and it won’t be long before the tablet ships.
It’s unclear in which countries the tablet will be sold, but OnePlus has filed trademarks for the name in both Europe and Europe. and india (opens in new tab)So it’s likely the Slate will launch in both territories, though it’s unclear if it will land in the US as well. .
There’s no pricing news, but based on what we know and suspect about the slate, we’re expecting a mid-range price tag.
news and leaks
The biggest OnePlus Pad news comes from OnePlus itself, revealing the first images of the tablet exclusively on TechRadar. These can be seen above, and come in a “Halo Green” shade.
As part of this teaser, the company revealed that the OnePlus Pad will have an aluminum alloy body and warped frame. You can also see that it is housed in the bezel.
Beyond that, the leak also revealed a slew of potential specs. Perhaps the OnePlus Pad will feature a Snapdragon 865 chipset, a 12.4-inch Full HD+ OLED display, and a 45W 10,090mAh battery. there is.
However, while the official image above only seems to show one lens, it also mentions a dual-lens camera, so let’s add a little salt to this.
what we want to see
It’s hard to say what you want from a OnePlus Pad if it’s the brand’s first slate and you’re not sure if it’s cheap, mid-range, or premium, but here are some suggestions are shown below.
1. Competitive price
We don’t know which segment of the market the OnePlus Pad is aimed at, but hopefully it’s priced lower than its main rivals. Given the downward trend, this is a realistic hope.
By doing this, OnePlus could quickly gain a foothold in the tablet market, with the OnePlus Pad being a true replacement for the iPad Pro 12.9 (2022), Amazon Fire HD 10 (2021), or the slate that best matches its specs. It may become a commodity.
2. Included stylus
To make the OnePlus Pad a more attractive purchase, we would like it to support and come bundled with a stylus. Large tablet screens are perfect for such accessories.
I’m not sure how likely this is, but Samsung and Apple both offer styluses for slates, and the former sometimes bundles styluses with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7, etc. It is certainly possible.
3. Keyboard accessories
We hope that not only the stylus but also the official keyboard case for the OnePlus Pad will be provided. This allows it to be used like a laptop, making it perfect for productivity purposes.
We can’t expect OnePlus to throw this in a tablet, but hopefully the price will at least stay low. There is no pricing for the Apple Magic Keyboard.
4. Great screen
A good screen is essential for a tablet that often watches movies and edits photos. More important than your smartphone. That’s exactly what we want to see from the OnePlus Pad.
How good it is realistically depends partly on how OnePlus plans to price and position this slate, but if it’s a top-end tablet, the refresh rate will be Requires a QHD+ AMOLED screen at 120 Hz with few bezels.
5. Powerful speaker
A good speaker is another important aspect of a tablet. Again, these are more important for slates than phones. Perhaps that’s because there are more chances here that you won’t reach for your headphones.
The size of the slate makes packing better speakers (and more speakers) more viable than a phone. So if you want quality sound here and this is an expensive slate, no headphones should contain at least four speakers for loud and crisp audio.
